So Pro Green (aka Stephen Manderson) has opened a Hoxton Square styled club in the heart of the West End.
With the help of mixologist Gerry Calabrese and Gerry’s brother Jon, Pro is offering punters urban (think grime, hip hop, garage etc) and rock music, as well as tapas dishes and cocktails made from homemade syrups, seven days a week from 6pm till 3am.
Situated on the fifth floor of Number One Leicester Square, the club is tattoo themed, with artwork designed by inkers Nikole Lowe from Good Times in Shoreditch (you might recognise her from reality show ‘London Ink’) and Ibiza Inkadelic artist Neil Ahern. The pieces adorn walls alongside graffiti and neon sculptures like the one Pro is stood in front of below.
Celebrity pals were on hand to raise a few glasses to the launch, including Miles Kane, Sheridan Smith, Laura Whitmore and Diana Vickers. Singer Emeli Sandé was also on the guest list, although it’s hardly surprising seeing as she featured on one of his biggest chart hits, ‘Read All About It’.
